The Multi-Valve head can be installed on most common mineral tanks with a 2-1/2#8 tank opening. Let your water treatment professional size up the proper unit and backwash flow control. All plumbing should be done in accordance with local plumbing codes.
Important
1. A 1/2” plug needs to be installed if you are not using the backwash function.
2. If using the backwash, you need the proper flow control or upper basket and an inline shut off valve on the backwash outlet!!!!
3. Teflon tape should be used on all fittings for a water seal.
Important Warnings
1. Do not use the Multi-Valve handle to tighten the head to any tank.

3. Do not lift any filter by the Multi-Valve handle or push down on the handle.
4. Handle only turns 180 degrees.
5. Do not use any tape or PVC cement or any other glue other than high strength hot glue applied by a hot glue gun to secure the upper basket to the Multi-Valve.
6. Do not over-tighten any pipe fittings with excessive force. This could cause damage.
7. Distributors must be sure a copy of this is sent out with every unit.
8. A prefilter needs to be installed if any sand or grit type material is present.
9. If all above is not followed the warranty is void!!

Operation
1. Turn handle to the “In Service” position to have filtered or conditioned water.
2. Turn handle to the “Bypass” position to have non-filtered water. For example, when you water the lawn, you do not want to waste filtered water. This will extend the filter life.
3. Turn handle to the “Off” position to shut-off the water supply to the home.
4. Turn handle to the “Backwash” position, open backwash drain line shut-off valve. Let the unit backwash the proper time then close the backwash drain line shut-off and turn the handle back to the “In Service” position.
Manufacturer’s Product Warranty
The manufacturer warrants its equipment to be free of defects in material or workmanship on the main base for the period of 5 years. On the valve, handle and O rings the warranty period is 1 year from the date of delivery from our factory or authorised distributor. The manufacturer’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of part which is returned, prepaid to the factory from the original purchaser and which is proven defective upon examination. This warranty does not include installation or repair or any other service costs, and in no event shall the manufacturer’s liability exceed its selling price. The manufacturer disclaims all liability for damage to its product through misuse, abuse, improper installation or use or attempts to operate such products beyond their functional capacity, intentionally or otherwise, or any unauthorised repair. The manufacturer is not responsible for consequential or other damages, injuries or expense incurred through the use of its products
