pH Neutralising POE System

When Carbon Dioxide (C02) dissolves in water it lowers the pH of the water (typically to between 5.5 and 6.8) thus making the water aggressive toward metal plumbing and fittings. The result of this is generally a blue/green staining on baths and basins as well as bitter tasting water. This water is also very aggressive toward copper hot water cylinders. This is very common in rain water which generally has a low pH. The solution is simple
