Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis is the process of removing of undesirable materials from water using pressure to force the water molecules through a semi-permeable membrane. This is called reverse osmosis as the pressure forces the water to flow in the reverse direction to the flow direction in the process of natural osmosis.
